Getaway @ Parksville

It's always hard to choose gift for guys, even for my hubby. I almost had headache @ each of those "special occasions". This time, I decided to get him a short vacation for in Vancouver Island as the birthday treat.

Since both of us did not plan to take extra days off work, we can't go "too" far. Otherwise I may want to go to Tofino. Also because this is not the best time of the year to be in Tofino anyway. So we decided to stay in Parksville, where we can still enjoy some ocean view (just not the Pacific Ocean) and enjoy a relax weekend.

I'm extremely satisfied with the hotel I pick. It's modern, clean, huge, and with a nice view. I even cooked breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen. I'll definitely considered another visit. If I have a vacation home there it would be great...just dreaming now....
