While Lunar Fest could be part of the Winter Olympic Anniversary celebration, my visit to the Lunar Fest is part of my pre Valentine's Day celebration. :)
Since Valentine's Day falls on Monday this year, we decided to celebrate the day before. Had dinner in Hotel Vancouver, then just walk over to the Lunar Fest site outside the Art Gallery.
Well, dinner @ Griffin is really nothing to rave about. We went there because we try to avoid the outrages premium of the Valentine's dinner, also we can use the entertainment book coupon. At first I also plan to shop a bit in downtown before dinner but turn out we were busy with other stuff.
The theme of Lunar Fest is a lantern aquarium. Everything is lighted by LED. The site is inside a big tent. Although the site is not huge it does provide lots of great setup for photography fanatic.
